Fellowship Ministry

Fellowship Ministry

Build lasting relationships and find a sense of belonging in our fellowship ministry. Enjoy social events, potlucks, and outings with other church members. Experience the warmth and support of a Christian community.

One of the founding beliefs at Hope Church is that much happens when we play together and talk with each other. Through activities, events and outings, children, youth and adults get to know each other, form relationships and be a support in times of crises and need.

To accomplish this important part in the ministries of Hope, the Fellowship Ministry plans various activities, events and outings that are of interest to various people. Typically these are either of a family nature.

These include small and large groups, our Men of Hope Saturday Breakfast gathering, Young-at-Heart, and other opportunities for fun and fellowship. We hope you will come and join us for one of our planned events

Small and Large Group Events

Various small and large group events are planned throughout the year. These are excellent opportunities to get to know the Hope family and fellowship with one another.

Perkins’ Dinner – We join together for dinner on the first Saturday of each month at Perkins’ with 20% being returned as a donation to Hope Church.

Special Events – such as attending a Barbershop Show, going to watch the Rays on Presbyterian Day, etc.

Men of Hope Breakfast

The Men of Hope love to gather together on the second Saturday of each month to make the best bacon, eggs and sausage around, eat together, fellowship and pray together and study God’s Word. Periodically throughout the year, about every other month, the Men of Hope gather with the Men of Mount Moriah to fellowship, pray together, and support one another. They also plan and organize our annual Hope-Mt. Moriah Mother’s Day Luncheon.

Young at Heart

Our Young-At-Heart group is a very active group of individuals that love to get together to eat, share and enjoy fun events and outings. Young-at-Heart is open to anyone. Although, this typically is a seniors group, they want it to be known that all are welcome and occasionally their members began attending well before they could call themselves a senior. Please come and enjoy.
